If this episode sounds scattered, it is. We haven’t gotten to LeeLee yet on the show. She was a short term placement just before Christmas, and she went to live with a family member. Well she is back and better than ever. Unfortunately I can’t get much done around the house when she is awake, as I am her favorite thing.
We are getting used to things and I expect to get back to my usual show prep and recording schedule going forward. Thanks for understanding!
In this episode, Turtle leaves for rehab, and we are all devastated. I appeal to the Office of the Advocate but am underwhelmed by the results. Our long term placements have issues as well and have to help them realize that their parents are not doing everything they can to get them back. More and more Peter and Karen are pulling away from their parents, and it is happening right before our eyes.

News this week comes from across the Pond, all the way from Great Britain. Basically a foster kid gets abducted by the biological mother and Drew wonders about how this happens, and relates a moment from early in their hosting Peter and Karen where this was a scare.
